Sr. Project Manager

Westower Communications RMR 11-13-1/15

Responsible for all D&S and MOD projects as well as some NSB in Montana and Wyoming. Worked with the ATT PM’s to schedule and perform 1C-LTE 2C scopes. Managed budgets for all projects. Managed all CM’s in MT and WY as well as the GC’s that worked on the project. Completed 40 projects between May and September. 

 

Project Manager

Mycom Int.   7/12-11/13

Managed CM’s for both T Mobile and ATT. Primary project was for T Mobile to prepare for the upgrade to LTE as well as, depending on the site, install LTE. Performed quality audits, managed budgets and deadlines. Worked close with NSN as well as T Mobile.    

 

 

Sr. Construction Manager

Westower Communications PNW 3/12-7/12

Managed all CM’s for the startup and roll out of ATT LTE for the Seattle metro market. Responsible for schedules of 14 CM’s to insure we met deadlines and budgets for all sites. Worked close with ALU to make the process as seamless as possible. At our best we were turning out 80 RTS a month.

G4S Technology (formally Adesta) Open Range Communications Project. 11/10-3/12

Responsible for overseeing the installation and  integration of WiMax and Microwave gear for the national roll out of Open Range Communications. Worked closely with Alverion, Aviat, ORC and our field techs to resolve any and all problems that came up during install and or integration. Tracked progress and set schedule for upcoming sites. Planned resources, nation wide, depending on work load. Reported directly to the client via daily meetings, on all aspects of field activity.

Construction Manager

BCI West Clearwire project 4/09- 8/1/09

Responsible for the management of installation of Clearwire sites in the Las Vegas market. Project included NSB and CoLo sites. This was a cradle to grave project. Worked closely with Clearwire with internal CM’s to get the sites ready and approved for commercial launch. This market had mostly co-located sites with a few new builds. Resposinable for the turn over packages for all the BCI managed sites.

 

 

 

 

Backhaul Manager Cleveland WiMax -Lucent Alcatel for Sprint Nextel                   10/07-04-08

Responsible for the coordination of the backhaul for the Wimax system.  The network was to be completely short hop microwave served by 14 A Hub sites with microwave shots to carry all the traffic. The entire network was to start with 222 sites. My objectives included working with M.W. Design to ensure the design would work in the field. Survey the A hubs for constructability, and work with both the AAV and LEC to provide service to the A Hubs. I worked on behalf of Sprint as a liaison between ALU and Sprint.

 

 

 

Construction Manager

Lucent Alcatel for Sprint Nextel Wisconsin                                             4/07- 10/07

Responsible for managing the civil work for the swap out of equipment from outdoor Nortel to outdoor Lucent Mod Cell equipment. I set the schedule, tracked progress, performed pre and post walks, performed quality audits with Sprint and whatever else needed to be taken care of. I worked closely with Lucent and Sprints implementation and operations groups.

 

 

RF/QA Field Coordinator

Bechtel Telecoms Cleveland OH. Cingular UMTS/ INT.                           5/6 –10-07

I helped implement an aggressive construction schedule and drove the contractors to meet that schedule every day. I worked with the Market Manager and Lead Field Coordinator to resolve construction hold ups. Worked with Cingular RF and Net Ops. To resolve Technical hold ups.

 

Cingular War Room Lead.

Bechtel Telecoms Atlanta GA. Cingular UMTS/ INT.11/04-5/06

Overseeing all activities in the war room for the UMTS / Integration project. That War Room took the place of the NOC and Switch. We had 6 engineers working on the network from the War Room. We had control of all sites and all the platforms. 

 

 

Lead Field Coordinator

Bechtel Telecoms. Cingular AL/Miss. GSM Birmingham AL.11/03-11/04

I was the Lead Field Coordinator in addition to all the same duties I did for Atlanta GSM.  We built a construction schedule and instituted a morning call with all contractors to drive the schedule. I performed about 80 new site build design walks with site acquisition in north Florida and Southern Alabama.

 

 

RF/QA Field Coordinator

Bechtel Telecoms. Atlanta GA. Cingular Atlanta GSM  11/02-11/03

I wrote the market spec for sweep tests. I was the resident trouble shooter for sites with technical issues. I was an interface between Network Operations and Bechtel to resolve problems. I ended up working in the Cingular building setting up and running the War Room. I reviewed all sweep tests for turn over.

 

Western Regional RF/ QA Coordinator.

EPC Jobs / Bechtel - AWS Project Program Team Seattle WA.                 11/01-11/02

Traveled market-to-market assisting with RF issues, sweep tests, quality problems, training of coordinators and contractors. I performed Quality Audits to verify the end product was up to the standard set forth. I performed sweep test and quality training for our employees to ensure they had the latest training available. I also trained contractors when the need came up. I set up War Rooms for various markets to go through cut over or launch.

Working for Metro PCS as a Sr. Const. Eng during the build out of their network for Northern California.  I was responsible for 3 clusters, all sites construction; cradle to grave. 

 

Sr. Field Technician and Construction Liaison

Sprint PCS Net. Ops. and Site Development                                                   11/96-8/01

I was responsible for the operation of the network and insuring our Techs. Performed all daily activities as well as being involved with all outages and trouble shooting of problem cells. I was a trainer for all new Techs. I also was a go between for Net Ops and Construction / Site Development insuring that Net Ops. got what they agreed to when the plans were agreed to including punch walks and all changes to the build.

 

Field Operations.

OSP/ Winstar Wireless9/93-11/96

As a contractor we performed all the installs for Winstar Wireless in the San Francisco Bay area. We were tasked to install, path align, optimize, trouble shoot and maintain all of Winstars Microwave shots in the Bay Area. This included the first point to multi point shots as well as many stand alone hops. We installed the first loop system linking 5 buildings in downtown San Francisco. We built the first large hub site with more than 30 shots being provided from this site. One of our major projects was the launch of the Sprint PCS Network. We were installing M.W. shots where they were not able to get land line T1 in time for launch.
